Sign: Aquarius
Gemstone: Amethyst
Blood type: B
Height: 5'10"

Likes: Games. She loves games of chance, games of skill, and those that combine both. She has decks for most collectable card games, and her shelves at home are lined with everything that Parker Brothers has ever made. She also likes general "play" games, like Hide & Seek, Freeze Tag, or Cops & Robbers, as opposed to more formalized "sport" games. She likes shopping, especially on a whim. Truth to tell, she likes doing just about anything on a whim. Finally, she enjoys composing poetry and working on impromptu art. Sadly, the quality of her works varies greatly, and she's as likely to put out trash as treasure.
Dislikes: Her major peeve is being held to a schedule. Given a semblance of freedom, she can deal with just about anything.
Hobbies: Girl watching, game playing, poetry, playing the saxophone (watch out for her impromptu jam sessions J ).
Fav Food: M&Ms, Chinese food
Hated Food: Alcohol, pretzels, coffee
Fav School Subject: Creative writing, Home Economics, Art
Hated School Subject: History, Mathematics
Friends: She generally gets along well with most people, but can get on anyone's nerves after a while. Rather than have a small group, with which she always hangs, she just drifts around, going into and out of people's day.
Family: Her mother, Felicity Forte, is a botanist, specializing in endemic Australian plants. Felicity's father was an aborigine, and has taught Alea a number of things, including how to throw knives, bola, boomerangs, etc. Felicity's mother was a Greek photographer who came down on an assignment, fell in love, and stayed. Alea's father Darius Forte, is a mid-level corporate executive. Relatively recently, he received a promotion, which required that he move his family from Perth, where Alea was born, to Sydney. Alea is an only child, and, while her parents were often busy, her home life has been pleasant and unmarred by the sort of trauma seen on afternoon specials.
School: Coverdale Christian School
History: Alea was born in Perth, in Western Australia. Her parents had just enough to support themselves and raise a child, but their fortunes grew as she did. When she was three and a half, her father had to go to a manager training retreat, and they couldn't afford a babysitter. This left her mother with the choice of take a child on her botanical trek or cancel her work. Needless to say, Alea was taken along. Disaster struck a few days into the journey. They were on one of the smaller wild rivers, and Felicity was telling Alea about how the Rainbow Serpent had carved all of the waterways, back in ancient times. Alea pointed into the water, claiming she saw the Rainbow Serpent. She made a grab, and got caught on the buried stick in question. Dragged from the boat, and held under, she nearly drowned before the crew could get back and save her. She was saved, however, and there was a silver lining to the entire experience. Underneath the log to which the branch was attached was a small patch of a previously undiscovered aquatic plant. This discovery allowed her mother to get published, and to command a small slice of attention. Her life has been dotted by similar circumstances, although only a few have been as dramatic. At age eight, she tripped over a rock while hiking and broke her ankle. The rock in question turned out to contain three extremely high grade opals, ensuring a decent amount of spending money for her get well shopping spree. Not all of her good incidents have been associated with bad, but almost all of her bad moments have been laced with good.

As puberty hit, she discovered a few interesting things. First, puberty was unrelenting, leaving her with very heavy development. This sparked interest in her from boys, and, in turn, her second discovery. She had no interest in them. She was perfectly willing to play with them, but it was the pretty girls that caught her eye. For about a year, she was a little more subdued than normal, trying to figure out what was wrong with her. Finally, at a school dance, she asked the cutest girl there to dance with her. She was refused, none too politely, but it didn't matter. She felt worlds better for just going with her feelings, being honest with herself. No longer hiding or restraining her impulses, she returned to following her whims. After 11 months of mediocre luck, her life spun back to normal, with a little bonus. At age 14, she won the lottery. Unfortunately, she hadn't realized that a minor couldn't technically win, so her parents had to claim the prize. They have arranged for the money to be paid directly into a trust fund. This means she has a stipend to enjoy, but cannot touch the principal until she is 21.
Appearance: Once one's eyes get past the exceptional top-heaviness of her frame to her actual features, the beauty of her hybrid genetics flowers. Her mixed heritage has given her a lovely midtone bronze coloration and pale gray eyes. Anime convention has given her legs to die for, and oddly colored hair, in this case an opalescent blend of white, pink, and pastel blue. In her Senshi identity, her hair is caught in a toptail, while it cascades free in her civilian identity. She has an eclectic taste in clothes, and will wear any style if the mood strikes her, but she is partial to silks. She also has a large collection of t-shirts with supposedly clever phrases on them.
Personality: Exuberant, fun-loving, and impetuous, she will tend to follow her whims. At times she combines thought and deed into one fluid state, only later to wonder what she did, and why she did it. She has the boundless optimism that comes from having the deep-seated intuitive knowledge that the universe favors her. These traits can make her annoying to be around, especially before one's first cup of coffee. In a word - perky.

Sailor Tyche

Fuku: Her fuku's side bands are red, with a trim of black between the red and the white. While the fuku is sleeveless, it has a higher collar, with a black band at the throat. Her shoulder mantle and bow are red, and the mantle has a thin wedge of black in the center of each side. Her gloves are white, with a band of black, then a band of red at the top, and her boots are black with red trim at the top. A black band with a red heart catches her hair, and her brooch, a simple black circle with a red cube within, rests on her bow.
Symbol: An equilateral diamond with a small circle in the center
Henshin Phrase: Tyche Goddess Power! Make Up!"
Henshin Brooch: Her brooch is a small red cube, similar to a die but without spots on the faces, suspended in a ring of black metal with a pin running through the top and bottom corners, allowing it the rotate.
Henshin: She places her hands in front of her chest, in a prayer-like position. Her head drops to where her lips brush against her forefingers, then snaps up. Leaning forward slightly, her arms sweep back, scattering cards behind her. These cards swing back around her, circling a few times. As a card passes, the clothing under it disappears, but it trails motes of black red and white. Those motes fall to her skin where they become her fuku. When the fuku is finished, she juts her left hip slightly, such that her weight is over her left foot and her right foot is pointed. Her left arm is loose at her side and her right arm is curved upwards. The cards that have been circling her body come to rest, fanned, in her right hand.
Weapon: A deck of tarot-like playing cards. She uses these as shuriken or throwing knives, and hurls them with uncanny accuracy. She tends to get a lot of lucky shots, and can usually get them to return to her hand when thrown, if desired.
Challenge Phrase: "Riding the winds of Caprice, I am Sailor Tyche, Senshi of Fortune, Goddess of Luck. (Fans her cards) Care to play?."
Spell: Tyche Gambler's Edge!
* Tyche (From an at-ease standing position, her right leg slides right and the knee bends. The left foot remains where it was. As a result, her body is to the right of where it was. Her left arm straightens at a slight downward angle out from her side, and her right arm has the elbow out to the right side, with the forearm bent up and back towards the head. The right hand curves in towards the head, then snaps out, fanning her cards. At the end of this stage, her body is in a position similar to the stance of a left handed fencer seen from the side, except that her head faces forward, not to the side.)
* Gambler's (The right hand snaps the fanned cards back together to where they are, to all appearances, one card. The hand finishes the snap with the index and middle fingers straight upwards, and the thumb angled toward her chin at a 45 angle. Her pinky and ring finger are folded down. The card is balanced on her fingertip, and is rotating rapidly. Her right foot rotates on its heel and her body shifts to where both knees are slightly bent. Simultaneously she brings her arms in front of her. The left arm moves to where the elbow is at her side, the forearm in front of her body, and her wrist at the top of her navel, palm upwards. The right elbow stops above the left fingers while the right hand crosses to line up with the middle of her left shoulder and left foot. The thumb remains pointed towards her chin and the fingertips/base of card parallel with her lips.)
* Edge! (Her right hand and left foot remain still as she slides back to a standing straight position. The left forearm rotates so that the left hand is lined up directly underneath the right hand, palm to the right and all fingers upwards. Her head lowers slightly. While the right hand has not moved, the change of her body position means that the right hand is directly in front of her face.)
At the completion of the spell, cards start flying out of the spinning card, in great numbers and at high velocity. Because luck is focussed into the spell, the cards will not hit friends or innocents, even in a crowded area. Enemies will be hit, even if hidden, and usually in critical areas. In the case of enemies with vulnerable focus items (such as the flutes of the 3:00 fairies), they will be hit as well. Likewise, if the enemy were standing under a scaffold, stray cards might cut the rope, dropping it on him.
Guardian Animal: None yet, but she will be getting one in an upcoming episode.

Fortuna, Imperatrix Mundi From Carmina Burana. It means Fortune, Empress of the World, and I am still trying to figure out a story for her that is worthy of the music.
